Services

The Wildlife Information Centre provides a diverse range of services to suit users' needs.

We can supply data to support your work, varying from raw data for you to analyse and assess yourself to processed and analysed summaries of species distributions or site assessments. Our data are available in a wide variety of formats including pdf reports, Excel spreadsheets and GIS layers.

Rhingia campestris - a hoverfly

We have regular users with ongoing requirements, many of whom have Service Level Agreements with us. These include local authorities and statutory and voluntary conservation bodies. Typically they require screening of planning applications, provision of digital data (often in the form of GIS layers), coordination of Local Biodiversity Site systems and provision of data and reports to support projects and case work.

We frequently supply data to developers and their consultants to assist with site assessments and project development.

We make a charge for supply of data to cover the time spent processing data requests and to contribute to our data collation work. Please contact us at admin@wildlifeinformation.co.uk for an estimate of costs.
